Victoria Gerrard of La Crosse, Wisconsin, began her love for the environment as a child. Retired from agricultural management in horticulture, she loves all things sustainable – zero waste and low-impact living.
Today, Vikki helps her community understand more about sustainable living. This includes gardening, urban farming, sustainable farming, and so much more. Vikki Gerrard teaches other La Crosse, WI residents how to live green and lower one’s carbon footprint.
She has worked with horticulturists in creating sustainable farming practices, including, Ecological Management of Turf, Urban Horticulture, and Therapeutic Horticulture. Vikki has worked alongside local farms, state parks, and flourishing vineyards and wineries.
In her free time, Vikki enjoys reading and working in her own garden while also volunteering in the local urban garden. She enjoys bird watching and boating on the lake. All of this is done in a careful, sustainable way, so that future generations can also enjoy it all.
